I meant it. When families come back year after year, my mind is blown at how much kiddos grow in a single year. Investing in family portraits means capturing everything that comes with this chapter of life - the chaos, the giggles, the whole shebang - so when you look back in a year or ten or fifty, you can remember it clearly and joyfully.

Before booking

When I hear from you about your interest in booking a family photo session, I'll do a little jig for joy then reach out with an email. I'll want to hear about your family, availability, and any specific ideas/visions you have for our session. I'll be more than happy to talk through any and all questions you have about working together!

Before our session

Once your session is booked, I'll shoot over my style guide that outlines many FAQs about timing for lighting, recommendations for outfit coordination and planning, and some other prep tips. I can provide location recommendations as well. I'm available for calls/emails/texts if questions pop up during this process!

During our session

Big day! I will meet you all on site for our selected location. We will jump into some full family portraits and then small groups. I'll guide you through some recommended posing and prompts to ensure you aren't wondering what the heck to do with your hands. If you're like me and preface every photo with "I'm awkward", you're in great company - but don't worry, I'll keep us moving and laughing so you look and feel not just not awkward, but like your absolute best self!

After our session

Within three weeks of our session, I'll provide you with a watermarked digital gallery via email where you can select your favorite images for download/usage rights. I'll then send a gallery with the included and/or purchased images where you'll be able to favorite, share, and download them all! You can also order products such as prints and cards through the gallery. I love keeping up with my clients - if you're open to I'd love to stay connected on social media!

Extended Family Session

Extended family photos are a great way to celebrate being together, whether it's a special occasion or a tradition. Extended family sessions last 75 - 90 minutes and include photos of the full group as well as individual family groupings.
